~** THANKS TO ALL **~

Greetings to all. I want to take this time to thank each of you for your responses and kind words on my blog.This was my first class in the masters program in early childhood studies and I must say you all were very helpful to me. I remember my first day of class like it was yesterday. You all made my transitions a smooth one!!! I'm so happy to have colleagues as special as you guys. I'm looking forward to working with many of you through my career goals. Good luck to all of you best wishes on your dreams and higher learning. Let us all receive another degree!!! Many special thanks to Janet Kien for being so helpful as well...

*** Codes Of Ethnics***


**We shall demonstrate our respect and concern for children, families, colleagues, and others with
whom we work, honoring their beliefs, values, customs, languages, and culture.
 **We shall recognize our responsibility to improve the developmental outcomes of children and to
provide services and supports in a fair and equitable manner to all families and children.
**We shall recognize and respect the dignity, diversity, and autonomy of the families and children
we serve.
**We shall advocate for equal access to high quality services and supports for all children and
families to enhance their quality of lives.


**We shall use research designs and analyses in an appropriate manner by providing a clear
rationale for each. We shall provide enough information about the methodologies we use so that
others can replicate the work.
**We shall maintain records of research securely; no personal information about research
participants should be revealed unless required by law.
 **We shall conduct on-going research and field work that is consistent with and builds upon the
available cadre of evidence based practices.
**We shall utilize collaborative and interdisciplinary research for strengthening linkages between
the research and practice communities, as well as for improving the quality of life of children with
disabilities and their families.

As educators we could use these codes that I listed. I found them to be very helpful to all teachers, parents, children, mentors, and our community. The information provided is very meaningful too. Also as professionals we can use are allowed to enforce the resources given by the Code of Ethnics.
